Tanzania offers excellent safari game viewing year-round. The dry season (June–October) is generally considered the best overall — vegetation is lower, animals concentrate around water sources, and the Mara River crossings peak in July–September. The calving season (January–February) in southern Serengeti is extraordinary for predator action. The short rains (November–December) bring green landscapes and fewer visitors. There is no bad time for the northern circuit.

Tanzania is one of Africa's most stable and safe countries for tourism, and it is extremely popular with solo travellers. The group joining format is particularly suited to solo travel — you join with other independent travellers and typically form genuine friendships across the safari. All logistics are handled by us from the moment you land. Solo travellers requesting a private single room will be charged a single supplement; sharing a twin room with another solo guest of the same gender is included in the standard group joining rate.
