The Northern Circuit is not only a wildlife story. It runs through the heart of Maasailand — and the communities, the culture, the relationship between the Maasai and the wildlife they have lived alongside for centuries, is as essential to understanding this part of Tanzania as the animals themselves. We work with Maasai community conservancies that allow our guests to visit villages, walk with warriors, learn to identify tracks, and understand a way of life that is both ancient and under real pressure. This is not cultural tourism. This is a conversation between travellers and people who know this land better than anyone.
| RESILIENCE INSIDER TIP
The most powerful experiences we have facilitated on the Northern Circuit have not happened in the Serengeti. They have happened sitting in a Maasai elder’s boma at dusk, or walking the rim of Empakaai Crater in the morning mist, or watching the sun rise over the Rift Valley from the Ngorongoro highlands with no one else for miles. The circuit is deep. Most operators only skim the surface. We go all the way down. |
